Here we are, your average size Lutheran church set in the middle of beautiful San Rafael, California.

Trinity is a congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). We may not have the most original name among LCMS churches, but we do have an important mission in this community. Check out our congregation's mission statement!

Trinity was established in 1942 on 4th street in downtown San Rafael in what is now Marin county's original dinner theatre, The Belrose. In 1961, Trinity moved to its present location and is set on a hill, above the surrounding community so we can be a light to the world ["You are a light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14)]. Serving together with our preschool, we pray that God would lead us to be a sanctuary that will introduce people to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As if that weren't enough, we also have an amazing youth ministry that is excited about reaching out with the saving message of our Savior. Check it out for yourself by reading the youth mission statement!

Our youth ministry is presently made up of Sr. High and Jr. High, Confirmation, Sunday School and Young Adults. Our goal is to grow to meet the needs of elementary age youth and family outreach.
