Our Belief

Trinity Lutheran Church is a part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. And as such we teach the love of the Triune God: the Father, creator of all that exists; Jesus Christ, the Son, who became human to suffer and die for the sins of all human beings and to rise to life again in victory over death and Satan; and the Holy Spirit, who creates faith through God’s Word and Sacraments. The three persons of the Trinity are coequal and coeternal, one God.

Our History

Trinity Lutheran Church first started as the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of San Anselmo in November 1930. Eight years later they formed Trinity Lutheran Church of San Rafael. In 1942, Trinity’s building fund allowed them to purchase their next home which is now Marin’s original dinner theatre, The Belrose. Trinity’s final home was purchased in 1958 and construction was finished in 1961. Since Trinity occupied the entire block the city allowed the choice of its own address hence the Trinitarian reference in the numbers “333”. Here Trinity has stood, along with our Preschool & Kindergarten, faithfully serving the Lord and sharing the gospel.
